Hadith: Years of Treachery Analytic Objective Study

Abstract

The research explores the Hadith that was narrated by Abu Hurairah “ There will come to the people years of treachery”, the narration of Ibn Maja, and studies it analytically and objectively. This Hadith is one of the signs of prophecy as prophet Muhammad, Peace Be Upon Him, told us about one of the signs of Judgement Day which is the years of treachery that people will witness at the end of time.

The study has been divided into two chapters. The first is studying the transmitted chain of Hadith. The second is studying its subject matter. Each chapter includes several claims. There have been several results and recommendations. One of the most significant results is that there will be, at the end of time, years of treachery when perceptions are changed and scales are tipped.

The most important feature that indicates such changes is to confound truth with falsehood and to call things what they are not. Hence, truthful person will be regarded as a liar and a liar is called truthful. Also, an honest person is called a traitor and a traitor is regarded as an honest. Secondly, when the government is entrusted to the undeserving people. Vile and base men will control the affairs of people.

Another recommendation is studying the tipping of scales at the end of time analytically and objectively in the light of Sunnah.
