The study aims to identify the techniques of educational support and its obstacles in the basic essential schools and indicates whether these techniques and obstacles are varied according to certain variables. The study uses the descriptive approach through applying two questioners; the first for identifying the techniques and the second for the obstacles. They are applied to (184) male and female teachers. The results of the study show that the degree of practicing teachers the educational support methods is large by (76%) and the related aspect to the educational domain comes in the first place followed by the emotional discharge aspect. In addition, the degree of obstacles that faces the educational support is medium by (63.28). The physical obstacles comes first followed by the management, then the obstacles related to the teacher. The study also shows that there are statistically differences in the degree of practicing the techniques of educational support due to the sex variable in favor of the female teachers and to the experience variables in favor of the novice teachers. The results also reveals that there are no statistically significant differences in the degree of obstacles according to the sex and service variables.
