Abstract

The study aimed at recognizing the problems of eleventh graders (Science Department) at Ministry of Education schools after violence on Gaza and the methods of encountering such problems from the participants’ perspectives. The researcher utilized the analytical descriptive method, and designed a questionnaire consisting of 50 items distributed to three categories: educational, psychological, and economic social problems. The study population was composed of all male and female eleventh graders (Science Department) in East of Gaza and North of Gaza governorates. The sample of the study consisted of 200 male and female students. Utilizing the statistical processing of data, the researcher concluded that the participants experienced psychological, educational, and social problems. Moreover, it was shown that there were statistically significant differences between the means of the participants’ scores in favor of East of Gaza. Finally, the study recommended activating the roles of extra-curriculum activities, school principal, and Psychological guide; attempting to support students psychologically and physically; and rising the students’ spiritual status.
