The study aims at identifying the role of the high schools of Gaza city in activating the implementation of peaceful co-existence and the methods followed to strengthen it. The two researchers adopt the analytical descriptive approach where the population consists of all the members of high school educational administration in Gaza city from which a sample of (84) administrators is selected including supervisors, directors, and their deputies. A closed- questions questionnaire is the tool used and the most important findings of the study are: • The role of the school curriculum through: spreading the culture of co-existence in the Palestinian curriculum and developing the skills of curriculum designers on the field of peaceful co-existence. • The role of school activities through: spreading the culture of peaceful coexistence, promoting continuous improvements of school activities, and providing adequate support for the peaceful co-existence programs. • The role of teachers through: spreading the culture of co-existence among teachers and developing teachers’ capacity of implementing the concepts of co-existence in the educational process. • The role of school laws and regulations through: the continuous developments of schools’ laws and regulations and the training of educational experts and managers in the laws drafting field.
