Abstract

This study aimed at recognizing the role of school announcement in reinforcing the attendance of the Palestinian prisoners’ case among the high school students in Gaza governorates and the ways of its development and knowing the differences in assessing the study sample to this role according to the variables which are (gender, qualification, and service years) and suggesting ways to activate it.The study conducted the descriptive analytical approach Aquestionnaire of (38) items was distributed in addition to open-ended question related to specifying the ways of activating the school announcement.The questionnaire was applied after being sure of its validity and reliability on The whole study population which account for (73) teachers of school announcement responsibles in directorates of Rafah, Khanyounis, East Khanyounis and the Middle of the Gaza strip and after collecting and analyzing the data, it was possible to recognize the role of the school announcement that the data total score was 68.88% The results showed that there is on statistically differences attributed to the gender variable and service years. And statistically difference attributed to specialization variable and was in favor of Media specialization. The most important suggestion of activating the school announcement were:- Hosting the ex-prisorers and specifying a day for them.- Making dramas and national anthems as well as celebrating the national accession. Enriching the curricula with extra material about prisoners.The researcher recommended:-Holding courses for the supervisors and the student of the school announcement club at high school to furbishing their experience and giving them the good preparation skills of school announcement.
