Abstract

The research aims to detect the overt and covert significances in poetry written by a Palestinian poet inside prison, Which contributes to recognizing the reflection of this extraordinary experiment in Palestinian creativity. Moreover, it shows the vision of the Palestinian reality whatever painful divisions it has. The researcher has not only adopted his own experience but also the common concept of reading in contemporary studies in order to be able to analyses and understand the authentic text. The researcher has founded out that the poetic text expresses the awareness of the reality by the Palestinians as well as their hopes that are embodied in a poetic text.
