Abstract |
This study attempted to reveal the uses of Palestinian university youth in Gaza Strip on social networks to raise awareness of Palestinian cause and the suffering of the Palestinian people, this study belongs to descriptive researches and used the media survey method, and through it the method of survey on a random sample of 287 Palestinian university students. The study concluded that Facebook was the most used social networking by the respondents, in raising awareness of the Palestinian cause, followed by Twitter and then LinkedIn, and the percentage of those interested in using social networks in raising awareness of the Palestinian cause reached 36.9% of the total respondents, where the average of their use of these networks is 3.47, and it was found that there are statistically significant differences in the level of that use between males and females, for the benefit of females. |
