TitlePsychological obstacles facing users of modern technologies in higher education and ways to overcome them

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the psychological obstacles facing the users of modern technologies in higher education and ways to overcome them, and to reveal the degree of differences in the means of estimating the sample of the psychological obstacles facing users of modern technologies in higher education due to the study variables (sex, college, academic level, experience) In the Internet), make suggestions on ways to overcome the psychological barriers faced by users of modern technologies in higher education. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers used the descriptive analytical method, and used the questionnaire as a tool for the study, and consisted of (40) paragraphs, and the study population consisted of students of the Islamic University users of educational technologies, especially e-learning, Gaza governorates for the academic year (2015-2016), and the sample of the study Of (341) students of the Islamic University students of e-learning, and verified the validity of the questionnaire and consistency through application to a survey sample of (30) students. The most prominent results of the study are as follows: - Obstacles related to the university ranked first with a relative weight (62.63%), followed by technical constraints with the second place with a relative weight (54.31%), followed by personal handicaps ranked third with a relative weight (48.79%). Relative weight (54.87%). - There are no statistically significant differences in the estimation of the sample of the psychological obstacles facing the users of modern technologies in higher education due to the study variables (sex, college, academic level). - There are statistically significant differences in the estimation of the sample of the psychological obstacles facing users of modern technologies in higher education due to the variables of the study (experience in the Internet). - The study presented some ways to overcome the psychological obstacles faced by users of modern technologies in higher education.
