Abstract

This research aims to draw the attention of scholars and those interested in the Palestinian literary movement towards the value of some literary works published in the local media. The researcher dealt with a group of short stories which appeared in the local newspapers during the Up-rising (Intifada). He studied them critically and indicate the changes emerged aiming to clarify their artistic level and indicate the changes emerges in the local short story in the light of political, economic, and social transitions that have occupied the region. The research uncovered the reality of one at the Palestinian Community Sectors throughout the Intifada by means of analyzing the technical and linguistic significance’s of such stories. Finally, the research proposes a critical approach for the product care and at short stories by a writer who has not received due attention, and notifies his artistic status that has revealed itself in his creativity in the domain of short stories.
