TitleThe impact of administrative and environmental factors on adaptation and improvement of performance of administrative workers at the university

Abstract

This study aimed at identifying the impact of administrative and environmental factors on adaptation and improving the performance of female administrative workers at the Islamic University in Gaza, and to identify the reality of the administrative factors represented by the administrative policies and procedures applied by the Islamic University to administrative workers and their role in improving their performance. The study was based on the analytical descriptive method. The questionnaire was used to collect and analyze the field data on the SPSS program. Forty-nine questionnaires were distributed and 37 responses were collected by 82% of the distributed questionnaires. The study reached several results, including: 1 - There is an impact of administrative procedures on improving the performance of administrative workers at the Islamic University, and the impact, but weak financial and material factors and appreciation and respect, health and safety on the improvement of performance. 2 - There are differences of statistical significance between the administrative and environmental factors to improve performance attributable to the variable of direct official. Recommendations include: 1 - Attention to improving the working conditions material at the Islamic University by providing an environment suitable for the nature of administrative work such as the design of offices, and the construction of walls of glass to maintain the privacy of female employees in the departments with open offices, in addition to the design of the comfortable office, and provide a temperature suitable for them, They have to eat, pray and entertain because of their significant impact on performance
