The study deals with the book of our Arabic language as a principle tool in the Arabic language teaching process . It is even the essential element in teaching process because it represents the applicable phase of the curriculum .It is also the container of the syllabus which is assumed to be the tool or one of the tools which enable pupils to achieve the targets of the Arabic language curriculum .so the process of evaluating the school books is a diagnostic process that results in the development and improvement of the school book in the purpose of being a good beneficial tool in the hands of the teacher and the pupil . this study aims at having the Arabic language book for three grades from the primary stage being subject to the process of evaluation which depends on designing and constructing criteria by experts and specialists and to be used as a reference to extract means of evaluating the Arabic language book . since evaluation studies depends on a criteria for judgment , this study has recommended this tool which is attached at the end of each school book and that leads to having a wider scale of people to judge the book without a great effort or a high expense . those who judge the school book includes teachers , principles education supervisors and pupil guardians . Many developed countries or even Arab countries has applied this method among those Saudi Arabia it proved to be beneficial, but it still at its first edition and needs more and more development and improvement to achieve the best school book if God will .
