TitleCustomers’ satisfaction with water supply service in the Gaza Strip
Untitled
Abstract

Water scarcity in the Gaza Strip forms a real crisis for people in this area. The ground water is the main resource for domestic use in the Gaza Strip. This resource suffers from rapid decline in both quality and quantity. This paper aims at investigating the customers’ attitude regarding their satisfaction with water supply service in the Gaza trip. Seven hundred and sixty questionnaires were distributed among the subscripted households in the governorates of the Gaza Strip and 609 of them were used in data. The results of this study indicate that most of the respondents were not satisfied with water supply service concerning water quality, quantity, and continuity. It is recommended that an improvement of quality and quantity of the water supply service in the Gaza Strip should be carried out by the Palestinian Water Authority in cooperation with the municipalities.
