TitleComplex zeros of moving optical waveguides
Untitled
Abstract

Davidenko's efficient method is presented and implemented for accurately finding the complex roots (the complex propagation constants) of the dispersion equation (analytic function with complex variable) of moving waveguides. Numerical results are illustrated for various physical parameters, and are compared with an approximate perturbation approach. ©1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
