Title | Sensitivity Evaluation of Graphene-Left Handed Waveguide Sensors |

Untitled | |
Abstract |
In this paper, we present a theoretical investigation of a proposed waveguide sensors containing artificial graphene-left hand materials. The graphene is represented by an infinitesimally thin local and isotropic two-sided conductivity surface. The effects of the left-handed materials through their permittivity and permeability and the thickness of the left-handed film in the proposed waveguide structure sensor are investigated, studied and analyzed. We verify that the proposed sensor can dramatically enhance the sensitivity compared with the conventional parallel-plate layers with graphene and without left-handed materials. |
