Abstract |
This paper presents an investigation of the municipal solid waste in Rafah Governorate-Palestine in the purpose of exploring the quantity of the reject materials and their energy content that could be extracted from these reject materials. It also aims at drawing attention of the local authorities as well as the public to the municipal solid waste management. The outcomes have shown that the reject materials contain a reasonable quantity of energy that could be transformed into electricity in a power generation plant relying on incineration of these reject materials and highlighted the need for municipal solid waste management program. |
