Abstract

This study aims to detect the Qatari foreign policy in order to find out it's basis goals and tools in the light of lately prominence of the Qatari role in many regional issues. This study relies on and essential hypothesis that the Qatari foreign policy aims to fulfill Qatari's ambition and objectives in the absence of the great powers in the region as Iraq, Egypt, Syria and Saudi Arabia, which can be carried out by understanding the balances of power in the region and taking neutral positions and keeping a good relationships with other country even those who are disputed. The researcher followed the analytical descriptive method. The researchers conducted many interviews with specialists in this regards, they also relying on a multitude of diverse references in Arabic and English languages to overcome any limitation of using only one of them. The most important results was that the Qatari policy based on political, economic and informational factors, while suffered from the limitation of demographic and military Potential, while the wide engagement in the regional challenges and the adoption of diplomatic mediation and the pragmatism and high capacity to invest economic potential are considered the most important features of Qatari's foreign policy.
