Abstract

This study aimed to stand by the definition of food as the basis for human life and its growth since being a fetus in the womb of his mother, passing through all the stages of his life until his death, because of the food based body and tissues and its members and its organs, and is compensation for lost from tissues, as the food to provide energy for the body to enable it to Movement and activity, and running and work. It traces the texts of the Koran and Sunna finds that food is linked to one of the most important necessities of the five is to save self, hence the interest of Islam, food great interest, is allowed with good things and forbids evil, and forbade all the damage to human health, as interested in quality food production and safety; all In order to preserve the human psyche. Comes of this study to demonstrate the legitimacy of the provisions relating to the quality of food production and control and means of conservation and safety.
