TitleRelationship between organization commitment and job performance among workers in the military medical services in Gaza Strip.

Abstract

The study aimed to examine the relationship between organizational commitment and job performance among workers in the military medical services in the Gaza Strip. The sample consisted of all workers (195 participants) in military medical services who have two or more job performance. The response rate was 95%. The researcher used self-administered questionnaire for data collection and the currently in use job performance sheet in military medical services in Gaza Strip. The result showed that there is a high level of organizational commitment among workers in the military medical services in the Gaza Strip in all domains. Also there is a high level of job performance among workers in the military medical services in the Gaza Strip. In addition, the result showed that there is a significant relationship between organizational commitment and job performance among workers in the military medical services in the Gaza Strip. The study recommends that the directorate of military medical services administration in the Gaza Strip to focus and to pay attention about the importance of organizational commitment and its impact on job performance. Also they need to strengthen the relationship between workers in the military medical services and their leaders to enhance level of organizational commitment.
