Abstract

This study aimed at investigating the reinforcement and suspense techniques as mentioned in the Prophetic Traditions and determining the degree of Gaza private secondary school teachers' practice of such techniques, not only in the education field but also in the field of the solidification of the positive behavioral attitudes in the moral, social and cultural domains. Also, the study aimed to reveal whether there were statistically significant differences in the sample's viewpoints concerning the degree of teachers' practice of these techniques in relation to the study variables of gender, major, and number of course attended. The researcher used the inductive approach to answer the first question and the descriptive approach to answer the second and third questions. The study revealed that the Prophet (Peace be upon Him) used a number of reinforcement and suspense techniques which were characterized by variety and comprehensibility. The study proved that the private secondary school teachers use such techniques to a high degree (77.60%) without any statistically significant differences due to the variables of gender or major. However, there were statistically significant differences in the field of practicing reinforcement techniques attributed to the variable of the number of attended training courses in favor of those who attended from 2 to 4 courses. The study recommended that teachers should use reinforcement and suspense techniques in both the fields of education and solidification of the positive behavioral attitudes.
