The study aimed to evaluate the special education course book for students with Down Syndrome in Gaza from the viewpoint of teachers in the light of educational technology through determining the criteria of a good educational technology course book and checking to what extent current book meets those criteria, and submitting an envisaged proposal in the light of the study findings to develop the currently used book. The researcher used the analytical descriptive approach because it is the most appropriate for the nature of the research. The study sample consisted of (46) male and female special education teachers for students with Down syndrome. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire consisting of 50 items distributed on four dimensions was applied. The research results showed that the course book meets the criteria of a good book at (83.7%), which is a high percentage. However, the educational technology in the course book needs to be enriched. In the light of these findings, the researcher recommended the need to take advantage of the conceived proposal to develop the content, formatting and presentation of the course book in line with the concept of educational technology.
