Abstract

This paper aimed at defining the concept of faithful self as found in the Prophetic Tradition and determining extent of IUG academic staff of practicing and enforcing the same. It also aimed at revealing the significance of variance in the study sample's estimates of academic staff practice of this role in line with the study variables of gender, specialization, and accumulative average. The researcher employed the qualitative and quantitative descriptive method. A questionnaire was administered on a sample of 190 fourth level undergraduate students both male and female. The study revealed a significant level of IUG academic staff practicing their role in promoting concept of faithful self in their students. It also revealed significant difference in the sample's estimates of these practices based on accumulative average in favor of students with less than 80% average. The study recommended that the academic staff members should enhance their role in promoting concept of faithful self in their students in the light of Prophetic tradition using practical creative techniques. 4102 mdaff@iugaza.edu.ps
