Abstract

This study aimed at determining the teacher's skill level using the Over Head Projector (OHP) and the extent this related to difficulties he/she encounters when using it. The sample consisted of 60 teachers in the Upper Basic Stage from three specialist areas namely, Arabic, science, and social sciences. The researcher prepared a teacher performance observation card and a questionnaire to determine difficulties teachers face while using OHP. The following conclusions were recorded:-The relative average of a teacher's skill with OHP was 57%.-The he-teacher's skill with OHP is higher than the she-teacher.-The science teacher's skill with OHP exceeds the social science teachers, but the latter's exceeds the Arabic teachers'.-A set of difficulties facd by teachers while using OHP were noted.-There is a reverse correlation between the teacher's skill using the device and difficulties encountered.
