TitleThe taste of Criticism and the Impressionistic Criticism between old and modern criticism
Title in Arabicالذوق النقدي والنقد الانطباعي بين النقد القديم والحديث
Abstract

Critics used to judge literate heritage of criticism in Arabic according to general criteria with samples of Impressionism or built in ideas or superficial direct notes considering either one of the two approaches, contextual or coordinative. Meaning by contextual from their vision of dividing the critics according to it’s focusing into the text or circumstances to two sections the critics that studying the text through events that created it. Which give essence to study the factors influence the text. The second approach, the coordinative, the type of critics which ignores any other contextual factors around the text, giving priority to the text. Ending their vision that Modern approaches and literary methods of criticism is coordinative style that ancients did not recognize when they preferred their own taste and impressions to value the different texts. Moreover, the wideness and indifference of the criticism taste itself. Because that taste was broad, meaningless, and was a tool of the critic in dealing with text, ancient Arab scientists did not loot non-specialized critics deal with it freely. They decided to define the concept of taste in criticism, and restricted it to use on many conditions so that it would not be abused to criticize it, except that it is unjust as the sole critic of our Arab heritage, the fair researcher cannot ignore the difference of the old criticism achievement, and move it between several levels. It may begin with direct impressionist criticism of taste, but it does not stop at it. Rather, it goes beyond systematic criticism, which reaches to modern literary approaches often, as in the books of classes and comparative and linguistic researches. This research deals with the critical taste and impressionist criticism between ancient literary criticism and modern one. The study adopted the integrated approach considering the study need to use several research methods such as descriptive approach, historical approach, and analytical approach. After defining the terms, it follows the vision of the ancients for the critical taste, then the difference between the literary taste and the criticism taste, then the impressionism as a modern critical theory and finally, the difference between taste and impressionism. The research concludes that ancient criticism moves between several levels of impressionist criticism to systematic research.
