Title in Arabicظواهر سيميائية في شعر الأسرى الفلسطينيين
Abstract

The research aims to study the most important semiotic phenomena in the poetry of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli occupation jails in order to find out the semiotics of the linguistic and non-linguistic sings .It also aims to go into the depths of the text and extract its semantic meanings and suggestive structures. In addition، the study aims to identify the extent to which poet prisoners were able to invest in semiotic stimuli in the expression of their material and moral manifestations، and in the production of semiotic signs capable of enriching the text and engender semantic and aesthetic indications in the recipient's feelings. The researcher seeks to utilize the analytical and descriptive semiotic approach which studies the most prominent semiotic linguistic and non-linguistic phenomena included in the poetic disc+ ourse of some Palestinian poets prisoners in Israeli occupation prisons، especially in the following themes: the semiotics of the title، time units، the terms of the jails، and colors. The study concluded that there are semiotic phenomena which have an active presence in the poems of the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli occupation jails manifested in: titles of poems، utilization of colors and time units، and the use of jails terms. These phenomena constituted semiotic milestones for deep understanding of the text of Palestinian poets prisoners in Israeli occupation jails، and for recognizing their creative experiences.
