Abstract

From day one, the Holy Quran challenges the Arabs linguistically. They were known of mastering Arabic language but they were astonished to hear the verses of the Holy Quran. Sometimes, they said that they never heard as such before; other times they claimed it is not the words of man or Jin; sometimes saying it is magic. Then they claimed they can write something similar. At this point, the Quran challenges the people to produce a Surah like it. The Quran is considered a linguistic challenge to the Arabs and mankind. It tackles many topics with a miraculous style. In this paper, the researcher examines, stylistically, the most challenging verse in the Holy Quran.) (]
