Accordingly a thorough study and analysis of those earthquakes occurring during the period of The First Hijri Century to the Forth Hijri Century in Al-Sham area (i.e. Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon & Syria). This research was carried out based on description methodology for each earthquake, specifying its occurrence date, its subsequent damage on humans and properties and its area of destruction. Making use of all available literature, with more than 25 main references. About 79 earthquakes have hit the Al-Sham area during the selected research period. Detailed descriptions of these earthquakes have been introduced with conclusions and recommendations useful for further research.
