TitleReaction of Hydrazide Hydrazone Derivitives with Aldehydes and Acetic Anhydride
Title in Arabicتفاعل مشتقات الهيدرازايد هيدرازون مع بعض الالدهيدات وانهيدريد الاسيتيك
Abstract

A series of N-acylhydrazone derivatives was synthesized via condensation of either, nicotinic, isonicotinic or cyanoacetic acid hydrazides with acetone and cyclohexanone. The reaction of the synthesized N-acylhydrazone 95-100 with p- chlorobenzaldehyde 60e and furaldehyde 101 produced the acyclic adducts 108-110 and 117-119. The obtained acyclic adducts are formed as a result of ring transformation of the initially formed 2,3-dihydroxadizaole.
