This study aimed at identifying the training needs for first grade teachers in UNRWA schools in Gaza governorates. It also aimed at examining if there are statistically significant differences at the level of (α≤0.05) between the mean scores of sample's respondents estimates of the training needs for first grade teachers that can be attributed to the following variables (years of service, educational area, secondary school branch). The researchers designed a questionnaire particularly . They adopted the descriptive analytical approach. The Study sample consists of (194) teachers. Findings revealed that there are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of sample's respondents estimates of the training needs for first grade teachers in UNRWA schools in Gaza governorates that can be attributed to the following variables (years of service, educational area, secondary school branch). Also the results derived from analyzing each study domain's data revealed that all domains' mean scores were convergent in terms of their relative weights. The total score as a whole obtained a relative weight of (57.2%). The study recommended that It is necessary to update teachers' data at the beginning of every scholastic year in terms of teaching skills and class management as well as the qualitative programs they receive in order to guarantee their efficiency to continue or to boost them if needed, it is important to plan and exert a ceaseless effort to optimally enhance the realistic assessment skills and to follow-up with teachers and meet their needs in respect to this matter . their needs in respect to this matter & it is also important to construct the annual training plan in light of the available school resources and based on the actual training needs for teachers.
